   ... is our small group environment for preschoolers.
   WAUMBA is the Swahilian word for Creator.  Each room is
   designed to emphasize various nature themes: forests,
   oceans, heaven, jungles, etc. FirstLook is the curriculum
   taught each Sunday in Waumba Land. To view a sample
   of this curriculum, log on to www.myfirstlook.org.

   Waumba Land is open every Sunday at 10:15 a.m.

       Wants To Be Their Friend Forever

THE CONCEPT

First Look uses several key strategies:

Teach less for more - Repeats one key truth (Bottom Line) all month long.
Engage the five senses - Helps master the concept through creative activities.
Teach with the end in mind - Helps a child by age five, to believe:

1. God Made Me
2. God Loves Me
3. Jesus Wants to be My Friend Forever

Experience worship - Encourages children to talk to God any time, any place.
Connect at home - Provides parents with ideas for conversation with their child at home.
